Role/Position Summary:

This role plays a pivotal part in the development of complex software applications across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. The role involves guiding the design processes, detailed design specifications, and ensuring that the development efforts align with the organizational goals and industry practices. The role involves collaboration with different leads and clients to oversee product development, managing source code repositories, and developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and high-level technical support. This role is also expected to mentor and help junior and mid-level developers and contribute on fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the development team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Leads the design and development of complex software applications for web, desktop, and mobile platforms to meet user needs.

2. Spearheads design reviews and provides insights to ensure alignment with project goals and specifications.

3. Creates and oversees development of detailed design specifications, ensuring comprehensive alignment with functional requirements and prototypes.

4. Collaborates with Development Leads and Clients to guide product development, ensuring adherence to design specifications and high-quality deliverables.

5. Manages source code and web pages repository with expertise, ensuring effective version control practices and resolving complex versioning issues.

6. Conducts advanced code walkthroughs and reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices, while mentoring and coaching junior developers.

7. Develops and maintains comprehensive technical documentation such as but not limited to design, installation, and user guides, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability.

8. Analyzes and troubleshoots complex code issues, implementing solutions to enhance software reliability, performance, and security.

9. Provides high-technical support by resolving escalated program-related issues and guiding junior colleagues in advanced troubleshooting techniques.

10. Researches and implements cutting-edge technologies and methodologies critical to UI/UX design, leading initiatives to enhance user interface experiences.

11. Identifies and addresses potential system issues proactively, recommending and implementing significant improvements to optimize system performance and functionality

12. Designs and executes comprehensive unit and integration tests, developing testing frameworks and driving continuous improvement in testing process.
13. Reports security incidents and/or any identified security weaknesses.
14. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS/BA in Information Technology or other related courses
• At least three (3) years of experience in software development
• Experience working in a BPO setting is an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in software programming (e.g C#.NET Technologies), software design and development (e.g. HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, React Js, Angular, etc.), code management (e.g. MariaDB, MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Experienced in researching and applying advanced technologies and methodologies critical to UI/UX design, mobile development using various programming (e.g. Ionic, Jquery mobile, Kendo UI, React Native, etc.)
